Our philanthropy page has been running for a few years now. It was originally started up as a by product of building our amazing Chitty Bang Bang replica car. We built Chitty at New Forest Metalwork initially as a promotional carnival project and raised a substantial amount of funds which were donated primarily to Julia’s House children’s hospice. This was orchestrated by our good friends Steve and Maureen Cliffen who ran The Cicely Foundation. Although the Cicely has now closed, donations can be made directly to Julia’s House.
We do hire out the car for local events, weddings, fetes, proms and carnivals, fees vary depending on the individual customers requirements.
A percentage of our fee will be directed to the Julia’s house charity. You can visit their site www.juliashouse.org to see the fantastic work that they carry out.
If you would like to hear more about the car / hire etc, please Click here to email me with your details and I will be in touch.
